Anyways, my parents never let me watch R movies when I was under 17. But now I have a healthy collection of all different movies from Muppet Christmas Carol to Final Destination 1 & 2 to Barbershop to Ernest to Matrix. I have a little bit of everything.
Hehe. My brother is the same way, and my collection is slowly starting to do the same thing.

That's good. It's nice to have a variety of movies to watch.

There aren't too many R movies on my Favorites list, but the ones that are have more than enough good stuff to counteract the not-so-good.

Can't wait for February 20th! Going to go see Fiddler on the Roof and then a late night showing of Kill Bill, Vol. 2! It's a guilty pleasure.

And Dawn of the Dead looks good too. Anyone know when that comes out?

Plus, back when it was made, there was no PG-13 rating, and it obviously couldn't get the PG. they just had to go for the higher of the two.
Yep, that's why Sixteen Candles has nudity but is only rated PG!

Yay! Lord of the Rings got 11 Oscar nominations!! No acting nominationg, though. Joel Siegul was pretty disappointed. Oh, well, with so many great performances it's hard to pick one...

Hooray for Lord of the Rings! You're right about the acting nominations, though--quite a shame. Still, I'm betting it takes home best picture and best director.

Ok... I say it takes 7 of the 11 nominations.

Can't tell you which 7, but 7 of them.
