yea pepe i love pepe obviously if u cant tell lol its sad i mean at least hes in the movie unlike Rizzo :shifty:i mean he usually was in the muppet crew like in muppet letters to santa

i guess disney wanted to bring back the original charcters and some really really old ones like wayne and wanda and forget about muppets tonight charcters but at least clifford makes a cameo. I think disney and segal and stroller were on the right track since the 4 trailers came out everyone was amazed at how segal brought the series back and how it breaks the 4th wall

I kinda wanted Thog to talk though i never heard what he sounded like and like Bemoth or whatever his name is the orangeish brownish tan guy with the weird eyes. And like uncle deady ive only seen him in on episode of the muppet show in season one never heard wayne and wanda talk
By the way do the talk? lol and i heard uncle deadly and bobo ust disappear like half way through the movie. Maybe they join the muppets like bobo did in muppets from space

I counted about 50 muppets in the music video with Ok Go and there was like alot of old charcters that we never really saw very clear in the trailers and that was exciting

I think if the movie does good disney should make a good running at least 20 or 30 good episodes of the muppets and have like todays stars go on like jason segal obviously katy perry lady gaga kesha johnny depp george lopez and alot of others

Like maybe call it The Muppet Show revisted or just simply call it The Muppets: TV Show you know and maybe make some new charcters for it like muppets tonight made great puppets like bobo andy and randy pig pepe rizzo seymour and people like that
And Disney should stop being lazy im suprised they made such a good movie maybe they wernt lazy and were just trying to make the muppets a good depth movie as they could to relaunch the series

Im done blabing lol sorry if i bored u lol
    :rolleyes::super::concern:

Now, let's get down to a more pressing issue facing our proud nation's youth: Where's Timmy Monster?

It's interesting that since they rebuilt all these characters we're so extremely dissatisfied that some others weren't built, remember to be thankful for what we got!

Well, I'm not dissatisfied, it's just without Timmy Monster, who will be the fifth monster at the start of the Muppet Show intro?
  8. RedPiggy Well-Known Member

I realize it wouldn't like happen, but it'd be funny if it actually WERE Timmy from DinoTV.

Yeees... But then he'd get crushed beneath the Muppet Show opening arches and... We'd have to get another Timmy! :zany:

The trailer that appears before the recent Winnie the Pooh movie shows a recreation of that shot (it's the only scene not in other trailers that sticks out in my mind), and it just shows four monsters, no Timmy.

I guess we shouldn't expect so many full-bodied characters... But I actually am a bit more bothered that they seemed to only rebuild two Mutations as opposed to three (yeah, they all look alke, never talk, and to me are the least interesting of the full-body monsters, but still...).

Since i still haven't caught that ad yet, is there an empty arch instead of a fifth monster? If so then i KNOW that there's something they've deliberately not chosen to spoiler in the trailers and when you see it, you'll be glad they kept it a surprise!

Heh, true DW...is there anything we haven't spoiled ourselves with yet?:3

Btw, while this film apparently cares little for Pepe, Rizzo, Janice, etc...the new behind the scenes of OK Go features really good interviews/talking scenes with Pepe, Janice and Floyd

That scene has made it to a TV commercial recently located online (and the still is at Muppet Wiki), and there is an empty arch where Timmy should be. I would have thought all those monsters were physically there (the arches don't look CGI to me in that shot), unless they just digitally removed one.

Having looked at the still in question, it appears to me that there's supposed to be someone there. Look at The Mutation to the right of Thog and the way he's positioned. Then look at the one to the left and the way he's facing away from Thog. If there was nobody there wouldn't it make more sense for him to be facing towards Thog instead?
I'm guessing that Timmy will be there in the final movie - but represented in CGI rather than a newly built puppet. The shot just wasn't completed in time for the preview. I could be wrong and there's nobody there at all... but it'd be weird given they're obviously trying to recreate the 70s title sequence.
Of course, if Timmy IS included... which version of Timmy will it be? The one who appeared in the titles was an earlier version of him ( the same version that appeared in the dance with Bernadette Peters ) wheras he was later redesigned and had a tail added. Personally, I like later Timmy better...

I'm starting to wonder if maybe somebody will jump from the side of the screen into that spot.

During the screening a bunch of the arches were empty... so I'm like 90% sure they just weren't dones with that shot yet. At the time a lot of the technical shots were incomplete. As for how many fuull bodied characters are in it; I was really impressed... there were a lot. I think you guys will be pumped to see it at release, there are a TON of fan favorites, they just obviously can't make every single character the star. Rizzo is the only character I can tell you seems to have been seriously overlooked but I feel like everyone else we love got their deserved screen time. I hate when u go to a movie hyped up and it doesn't deliver... I'm telling you, this is not gonna be one of those times :)

Do you recall which other full-bodied characters appeared in the film, in addition to Sweetums, Thog and the Mutations?
  18. RockSTAR girl Member

I could have sworn I saw Behemoth, but i have horrible memory so I could be wrong, anyone else who saw it remember?
  19. Duke Remington Active Member

Behemoth is not a full-bodied character.
  20. RockSTAR girl Member

Are you sure? I thought Behemoth was a full bodied character... but either way, thats not who im thinking of... its Big Mean Carl... you can see him in the background here...
