This preview really does look beautiful. I'm so happy and impressed that Scooter and Rowlf, as well as the ENTIRE Electric Mayhem band are all in the main cast. And with Link, Julius, Wayne, Wanda, Uncle Deadly, Thog and many others popping up in several different spots it just feels so rich. I wasn't even this excited for Muppets From Space. Everything looks beautiful, from the rebuilding of the characters to the old TMS set. I've been quite negative towards the Muppets for several years now, but I can tell you honestly that you won't be hearing me complain for quite some time after seeing this.

Who got chills when Amy Adams said "It's time to meet the Muppets..." ?

Love that circling camera movement where everyone's carrying cleaning supplies, save for Dr. Teeth who's holding a radio... could that be when they clean up the theater and sing "We Built This City"?

When Kermit's talking about artistic integrity, you can see Scooter further behind him holding a clip board, with Link not far behind.

I know a lotta people don't like the fart shoes gag but that is a pretty good looking full-body Fozzie. Kinda reminds me of how well it looked at El Sleezo's

Anyone know what the mean-looking Muppets are about? So far they've got a Piggy, Fozzie, Rowlf, Kermit and Janice version.

Loved watching Bobo fence with Cooper... and Deadly's watching.

I was worried about this, but I gotta say... I like Walter's voice. He's got a Scooter/Robin type of hint to it.

Kermit's speech: Holy Santa Claus S***. There's enough surprise appearances by so many old favorites that it'll give you a heart attack. Bobby Benson, Frackles, Mutations, Beautiful Day, Carl, Jeri & The Atrics, Robin, sheep, lizards, monkeys, and everything in between. The one person I'm waiting to still see though is Nigel.

I love Rowlf's purple taxi cab hat, as well as the band in their vintage purple tuxes. Speaking of hats, I love Beautiful Day's beanie.

Floyd's line made me laugh... I'm glad he's back. He's been one of my top 5 favorite Muppets since he was a kid, I hope he is just as funny in the film.

The Arches. Nuff said.

Last thing... I'm glad they're singing "Built This City" but I hope it's the Muppets singing it and that they used the actual song for the trailer.

My biggest beef is that electrocution-on-the-fence scene with Walter. Even though the ones who cut the trailer are probably different from those who will edit the full movie, that joke ran terribly flat for me. The pacing was off, and it was lengthy enough that I think it will probably be off in the movie as well (unless they remove it entirely).
Timing doesn't work well in trailers. They either tend to rush things up to fit more footage in, or (rarely) to exaggerate something. Something was off about how it came across there. It seems like a "I'm okay" type response was missing.

But other than that, it feels like the trailer IS missing something. A shame, since the parody trailers, especially Green Lantern, seemed to have some stronger moments in there.

But hey... Disney once added burp and fart jokes to movies that not only didn't have them, but would have been suspected of treason or pornography if they were in there when they first came out. I don't know where to find them, but Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians (the animated GOOD one) had those things pasted in when they advertised the videos on television.

I think they even tried getting boys into Beauty and the Beast by exaggerating the scene where he eats soup without a spoon.

They really need to bring forward the European release dates .. i know its delayed so they can give both USA and Europe the full promotional push with the Muppeteers on TV shows but it's a big wait, people will have watched it online.

I like the robot. A robot wanting to join the Muppets would have been funnier than Walter. It's Clifford Mark 2 really isn't it. The robot is interesting me and clearly a lot of others here more. Nice work Robot!

Two trailers in a week for a film that doesn't come out for 8 months, they should have held onto it a bit longer, not that i'm complaining.

The main thing that really wows me watching it again is all the background characters .. they clearly want an established "Muppet Universe", which while they may have just done it for nostalgic fan nods actually makes me think weekly TV show possibilities are on Diz's mind!!!

If my eyes aren't deceiving me or the lighting is wrong, I think Nigel from MT! is in the crowd scene (it looks like Droop, but lighter fur).

I think the mean-looking Muppets are supposed to be "The Moopets", an act that Fozzie put together when the gang went their separate ways.

Someone mentioned earlier they wondered where the "brawl" scene fits in the film. I think it might be from

SPOILER Animal's anger management clinic. At :55 you can very briefly see Animal's fur on the right hand side of the screen. I'm thinking either the gang has to weed through a fight to get to Animal (who might be sitting serenely after years of therapy) or they start a fight to get him to remember who he is. /SPOILER

If the trailer hadn't already... this, my friend, would have made my day. We've had our major disagreements in the past, but I can honestly say that I agree with every sentence of your post.

It is so ridiculously heart warming to see so many Muppet fans excited for this. It's like Kermit says... "I believe in you. And you." He believes in all of us because we believe in him. Amazing.

Sorry Drtooth, i dont see what your implying...that dance in an 80's and a Robot muppet come from the same creative area?

i think your trying to hard to fit puzzle pieces that dont go together.

you know what would be sweet but would have me balling like a baby is if the somehow mentioned Jim Henson and how they sorta fell apart after he passed...a long shot i know but it just popped in my head

btw i almost cried at this

AWG!! That version didn't cut out the bit about the robot, did it? Or was it the full version... I didn't check it all the way.

I deleted it, because it DIDN'T have the segment I was talking about.

But the TELEVISED version comes with an extra verse, and there's a robot that looks SUSPICIOUSLY like the same one here that just randomly appears in the song.
