I've always liked Toyland, regardless of whether it was the animated version or the one that was live-action.

The 1961 Disney version, with Annette Funicello and Ray Bolger is pretty good, too.

It's nice to see that many of us have such similar tastes in many aspects.

Santa Clause is comin' to town---Mickey Rooney is/was so charming!
All the songs in this movie are SUPER! It gets stuck in your head! I know...I've been at it for nearly two months!
Oh I know, Mickey Rooney's performance holds the whole special together, I can't imagine anyone else doing it.

I love the music performed by those cocky two "I'm Mr. Green Christmas...I'm Mr. Sun!". I loved Mrs. Clause! She had a cute little voice.
I never get tired of listening to the Snow and Heat Miser numbers, lol. I think I've nearly got them memorized now!

You mean...

Snow Miser
I'm mister White Christmas
I'm mister Snow
I'm mister Icsicle
I'm mister Ten-below
Friends call me Snow Miser
Whatever I touch
Turns to snow in my clutch (Ha Ha)
I'm too much (Ha Brr Brr...)
He's mister White Christmas
He's mister Snow (That's right)
(Ha Ha Brr Brr...) He's mister Icsicle
He's mister Ten-below
Friends call me Snow Miser
Whatever I touch
Turns to snow in my clutch (Ha Ha)
He's too much
I never want to know a day that's over 40 degrees
I'd rather have it 30, 20, 10, 5, and then at 3 (Brr Brr...)
He's mister (Brr Brr...) White Christmas
He's mister Snow (That's right)
He's mister (Ha Ha) Icsicle
He's mister Ten-below
Friends call me Snow Miser
Whatever I touch
Turns to snow in my clutch (Ha Ha)
Too much
(Ha Ha) Too much

He's too much (Thank you)
I never want to know a day that's under 60 degrees
I'd rather have it 80, 90, 100 degrees (Oh some like it hot, but I like it really hot...Oooh yeeeah)
He's mister Green Christmas
He's mister Sun (Sing it)
He's mister Heat Blister
He's mister 101

You know, I only saw the real Christmas without a Claus once in my life. And not even the whole way through, since I missed the opening.

I saw that horribly dated live action bomb they made for TV. Wow. they filled it up with every Pop culture relevence they could. they even mentioned the Childhood obesity epidemic for no apparent reason.

Harvey Firestine as the heat Miser was the only good thing they had in that train wreck.

It's a difficult responsibility, when you accept an appointment from his majesty!

When you're the first toymaker to the king!

that song is stuck in my head, since I read Heralde's post. XD

I'm just glad that they never aired it on any of my local stations or on our ABC Family block.
