    Hi Leanne,

How do you track it? Did TCZ give you a tracking number?

I tried to do it on the UPS site, but without a number or reference I couldnt find it?

I hope I get mine tomorrow too, just concerned as the email said 3-5 days? When they called, did you have to select a postage method, mine has the standard £3.50 that was added when I ordered it?

I didn't get a choice of postage option either. £3.50 was all they offered.

Just spoke to TCZ, it seems that if you didnt get chance to speak to them yesterday then your parcel will be sent via Parcelforce 48hr. The advisor told me that if they cannot confirm that you are going to be there to accept the parcel they use Parcelforce. UPS is faster but things have gone missing if no one has been there to accept it.

So sorry folks, but if yours is Parcelforce like me, were not gonna see him until Monday, a long weekend and day at work on Monday ahead before I get him!

Well today is GONZO DAY for a few fortunate Muppet fans from the UK , as after months of waiting he should be arriving at the doors at any moment, so HAPPY GONZO DAY everybody, should this be a holiday ?
Mine arrived this morning at 11, delivered by UPS & I was grinning like a cheshire cat, or Dr Teeth, such a big kid, & I have to say, straight out of the box I think he's the best of the 3 so far, so that certainly layed to rest any reservations or worries I had about him not looking quite right.

His pupil placement seems good, not perfect, but rather than risking damaging him by peeling off the pupils I think i'll keep him as he is, of course he looks better at the right angle & once I placed him next to the other 2 he looked just perfect to me.

I'll post some pics a lil later, better do some work around here, to try & pay for these fellas! As far as the outfit changes go, I think i'll stick with the classic Muppet tux.

I'm sure those who are still waiting won't have long to wait at all

    Have a great day

My Gonzo is here, my Dad signed for it at 9:18 this morning.

I won't get him till the weekend though, but at least he is only a car ride away!

Ok, here's a few piccies , they're taken on my phone so quality isn't amazing, i'll spend abit more time posing then take some more :)
    He's # 314 ,
When you first open the box and see him lying there's its actually pretty creepy, similar to Kermit was, like a muppet in a coffin?

I'm looking for some expert advice, do you think I need to alter the pupil placement, how does it look? Seems ok to me, any thought would be appreciated :)

Also, on another note, I'm still not completely happy with Animals nose, does anyone know where I might be able to find a slightly larger nose for him ? I've tried clown noses on ebay and fabric stores, apart from that I wouldn't know where to look?

    Many thanks

    Hi Mark,

Well, He looks great, and you are so lucky to have him, I got to wait til Monday, but hey I've waited this long whats a few more days, and it;ll brighten the Monday Blues!

The eye placement looks a little high, go to the MuppetCentral Home page and click on the Gonzo review, compare the pics at the bottom to see what you think of the eyes. He seems to be looking upwards a bit to much, I must admit that I am so nervous about changing them, but I know it'll bug me if there off and I dont do it!

Have fun with your new weirdo this weekend.

OK all, here are my first pics. I have not altered his eyes yet but they do need changing, as KermiUK said they look upwards.
On the subject of Animals nose, my advise is to squash it to make it look bigger.

I am gonna have some fun with Gonzo, I think he is very well made, the sock nose is perfect IMO. My only negative is the eyes.......why Travis can you not get them to put the pupils on right?

    Hi Ant

Great display you have there. I wish I had room to display mine on there boxes.

Gonzo looks amazing, and Im still looking forward to getting mine on Monday.

    Have fun with him.

Hi Chris, thanks for the tips on the pupil placement, i'll check out the review again.
You don't think there's a chance your weirdo might turn up tomorrow? But as you say it'll certainly brighten up those monday morning blues :)
Hey Ant, you're display looks awesome! I keep looking at pics of your Kermit to try and make mine look as good, so I apologise but i'm stealing your pose ;) I'll try that out with Animals nose, did you do that to yours ? His does look slightly bigger.

I agree , the sock nose looks fine. So where does he stand in your order of favourites, do you have a top 3 yet or does it change? I think I loved him straight away, whereas Kermit & Animal took a while, particularly Animal, i'm still tweaking him all the time!

Hang in there Chris, the Weirdo's on his way :)

I doubt he will arrive tomorrow. I dont know if Parcelforce deliver on Saturday, and even if they do Im at work until 5, so unless a neighbour takes it, I dont think I'll be seeing him til Monday.

At least I still got the excitement of opening the box to come on Monday.

Thanks for the comments, I have squashed Animals nose, it still is a little small but this effect does help.
IMO ........Gonzo is my least fav Muppet out of the 3 BUT my fav MR replica so far :) . Kermit took a while for me to get him to look like he was in character, Animal just had to be pimped all over but Gonzo needs nothing done to him to make him look real apart from the pupil change which is easy ( as long as you know where to get the material WHICH I dont so any tips would help a lot!)
His jacket seems a little big but Ive pinned it at the back and now it look fine.
So who else apart from us lucky 3 got theirs today.

Hey US members we here in the UK can now have a one up on you.......we have Gonzo and now Fozzie pre ordered:p
  14. markit Member

I'm with you totally that Gonzo is my 3rd favourite Muppet of the 3, Rowlf is my favourite, but I think I might have a wait on my hands for him. I was prepared to change the placement of Gonzo's eyes so I bought a roll of 'self-adhesive velour' it's the closest I could get to flocked paper, which I couldn't find at all, it's black, it's furry, i'm sure itd be fine, if anything, it's a lil thinner but I think it would work great unless anyone's come across anything more suitable. Ether way it's a **** of a risk to take, last thing i'd want is Gonzo to be stuck without his pupils!

I've got a whole roll of this stuff if anyone wants any, unless they start producing them ultra quick & I have the entire cast, I dont think i'm in any danger of running out! It's got www.hobbycraft.co.uk on the wrapper.

I might be wrong and I am sorry if I am, but I THINK that the member Reevz1977 put up a post saying he had lots of the stuff to make the pupils, and if anyone in the UK needed some, to let him know!

Again, sorry Reevz1977 if it wasnt you!

Ask Lab Rat, he is a puppet maker and will tell you where to get the flock pupils from. Not sure if I am brave enough to do it myself. Maybe when Lab Rat is in London next a visit to Greenwich park may be on the cards, I'll buy him lunch in exchange for him fixing the pupils

I ordered Fozzie yesterday, Bloke has gone mad, I don't care. I wish I had a husband like you guys that loved the Muppets. I don't know why he doesn't understand my passion. He loves Sci-Fi and I don't stop him with his purchases.

Maybe it was Lab Rat that put the post up, I cant remember and I cant find the post on here.

Glad to hear you joined the Fozzie Pre Order Club Leanne, He is gonna be so cool.

My partner complains about the size of him, but understands that if Im made to choose there is a clear winner.............and thats a Frog, Pig, Bear, Thing etc. lol
