I can't believe no one noticed the one thing about both episodes 4072 and 4074....

    WE GOT GRUNDGETTA BACK!!!! Yeah!

The Dr. Feel segment was great.... I wonder who performed him... I was guessing Steve Whitmite, but I'm not too sure....

Yes, it was great to see Grundgetta on Sesame again. Though that makes me think for a moment. Weren't we, the fans, calling for her return to the show when talking about Season 34 and possibilities for Season 35? You think they actually listened to us? Maybe we should ask for a return of Jerry Nelson's characters for Season 36.

Oh, and there's something I'm thinking. Might be wrong about this but...
the three super-hyped spoofs for Season 35 were Joe HundredGuy, Dr. Feel, and Triangle Bob Trianglepants. We got Joe HundredGuy in 4063, which originally aired on a Tuesday; as well as Dr. Feel in 4073. So, does that mean we'll have to wait till Episode 4078 next Tuesday before finally seeig Triangle Bob Trianglepants?
Maybe not, but you never know. Have a rotten day.

Actually, there were 4 spoofs that were hyped. You forgot to mention "Baby Talk," the spoof of the Tonight Show With Jay Leno....

Sorry bout that, thought it was just the three I mentioned. Well then, maybe there's hope but mayhaps for next week? Ah, just enjoying the ride of Season 35 and gathering characters for the listings.
    Have a rotten day.

It is Steve. Caroll told me so himself. :D

Oh cool! Thanks, Boober underscore Gorg! It's so cool, that Steve plays a character besides Ernie and Kermit (when he was on during the Hurricane 3 seasons ago) on the show...

I saw him last month at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. I commented on the recent Dr. Phil appearance, and that's how I found out. I also got my picture taken with him and :grouchy: that day.
  9. Today, I saw the episode where Telly subscribes to the Letter-of-the-Month Club where he receives all 26 letters at once and Alan, who is putting together a birthday party for a Honker, gets in a pickle with all 26 letters coming in the store. The Letter-of-the-Month club sounds similar to the Sweet Pickles Book Club! And as I just said, it sure put somebody in a pickle!

Loved today's episode. It appears to have Frank back doing Cookie for a street story. Cookie wants a cookie and Alan gets him one but then theres no more left so Alan bakes some while Gabie writes a story that Cookie comes up with. Its called "King Cookie." It was cool to see Frank's Cookie voice on a new episode. Thats was my favorite part as well as some others. One more thing Gabie tells Cookie the name of her book shes reading and Cookie says (whatever the name of it is) "Tollhouse! Now thats a cookie!" And the whole thing w/ Alan playing a horn of some kind a Cookie keeps making jokes. Love to see the old Cookie back making jokes.

What old skits were on Today's Episode?

Well, there was a medley of celebrity moments where we saw them singing the alphabet, all started off by and capped by Ray Charles singing the alphabet himself.
There was a new Bert and Ernie segment, where Bert sings the song "In My Book", a song that has been long used on SS but as an animated sketch/song.
And the banter between King Cookie and his Royal Helper was good. But was that rully Frank as Cookie Monster? There was a Global Grrover segment earlier where he tries to jump through a hoop, which very much sounded like Frank to me.
And Gabi was reading Ana Karinina by Leo Tolstoy, Tolstoy me not know... Tollhouse, now that's a cookie!

Watched Episode 4076 and there are a few good points about this one.
1 The character of Gary Gills in the street story, liked this guy cause he reminded me of the traveling salesman character that makes the grandstanding claims at the center of the midwestern town seen in other TV shows and/or movies or cartoons.
2 They showed the classic version of the Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree after JTE.
3 After the Number of the Day segment, there was a nice sketch with the Count setting up shop as a movie director. Leam Nielsen showed up and got the job in the Count's production of Transylvania 65000, where Liam counted to 20. And during the second run, the thunder and lightning effects triggered a rain storm.
"So it's raining now, so are we done?"
The Count: "No, now the movie's Counting in the Rain!"
That's 2, 2 movie spoofs in 1 sketch! Ah ha! I love it!
And I suspect Drtooth will too.

Yeah. I wonder about that too. How much is Frank still on Sesame Street these days. I did see the part with the King Cookie story. I thought that sounded like a David Rudman cookie monster. After all, doesn't Frank only perform Cookie Monster in the "Letter of the Day" segments these days? I don't know about "Global Grover." I thought Eric usually performs Grover in those.

By the way, I thought the King Cookie story would have been better if instead of Alan, Miles and Gabi, they would have incorporated some other Muppets. Maybe the count could have shown up and brought him bats to count or Bert could have shown up and brought him paper clips. Just a few thoughts.

Yeah, I saw the one with Grundgetta that was really good. About Jerry's characters, I don't know. He really doesn't do much work on the show as he used to because of his health. That's why we don't see the Count on the street too often anymore. I don't know if he'd want anybody else to perform his characters at this point, since he still performs when he can. After all, we did see his Humpty Dumpty recently, so there's a start.

Yeah, the episode was terrific! "Just loved it all to crazy!" Probably one of the few times I've actually liked Baby Bear. I thought the Gary Gills character was great. The spoof of The Music Man was wonderful, and seemed very much like it could turn into a classic Sesame Street segment.

And the appearance of The Honker Duckie Dinger Jamboree? Hehehehehe! Great!

Oh, and just a note, both Cookie Monster and Grover (in the letter of the day and Global Grover) were performed by Frank Oz in this episode.

So Letter of the Day: G Giant cookie and Global Grover: Alaskan Winter with the sleddog were both instances of Frank voicing his characters. Well, it's good to know that he still comes around from time to time.

    Yup. Deffenitely.

It is nice Frank is able to do what he can.

Grrrr. Missed out on today's episode due to a short-lived shortage in my cable TV provider's services.
So, what happened? Were there any army jokes or connections drawn between SS and M*A*S*H*, seeing as how this was Episode 4077?
Well, hope to hear from you guys and have a good day.

I really liked the King Cookie story the other day. It was great to have Frank Oz doing so much performing!
