    International Sesame Street...

"Elmers Verden" is -- or rather was, since it hasn't been on air for about 2 months -- just the Elmo's World segments, dubbed, and shown seperately. "Sesam, luk dig op" -- where did you get that name? If it is what I think, then it's the early(?) 1990s show, that only featured (horribly!)...

    Questions for Fraggle's Terry Angus

Feeling a bit guilty that my post didn't really contain any questions to you per se, Terry, I thought I'd make a proper one. Having just seen "Follow that bird" for the first time less than 2 minutes ago as I write this, I noticed your name in the credits (which I didn't know about). My question...

    Questions for Fraggle's Terry Angus

I have no idea whether this will reach the right people (i.e. the ones actually working on the boxsets), but I know of some original behind-the-scenes material, that very few fans have ever seen. In the mid-80s, a german TV-show for kids were fulfilling children's dreams as first prizes (like...

What year did each Muppeteer join the group?

I've heard 1984 for Kevin Clash as well, and 1986 is definitely too late because he was involved in Labyrinth that premiered that year (a movie that took at least a few years to do). By the same reasoning, I think Bill Barretta joined in 1990, with Dinosaurs premiering in early 1991. Brian...

German Muppet-ripoff show "Hallo Spencer"! :)

    Fraggle Rock on Danish TV!

Really?!? Wow... maybe I've been confusing myself with all the reruns back then (I tried to keep track of both the German and Danish episodes), but that would explain why I never saw "Change of Address" and episodes like that in danish. Nor in german, now that I think about it... but I digres...

    Fraggle Rock on Danish TV!

Fraggle Rock back on danish TV! Beginning Monday, November 29, at 5:00 in the afternoon, danish TV-station DR1 will restart Fraggle Rock from episode one and then show a new episode daily afterwards in the same time slot. Here's hoping, that that would lead to a danish edition of the DVDs...

    Bert's Nephew?

Yeah, I've seen that one too (although in german only). Richard Hunt did the puppet, AFAIR.

"Where's My Water?" a funny Frank Oz story

It's such a great tape -- the chemistry between the two is just sizzling, and Frank pretty much steals the show. Highly recommended. :)

Scandinavians: "Trading Places" on TV tonight!

Scandinavians (and especially danes!) should know that danish TV-station "TV Danmark" is showing "Trading Places" tonight at 20:55 -- a perfect opportunity to see Frank and Richard again in their probably most famous cameos! :attitude: ;) (Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum -- I...

    The Fraggle Rock lighthouse

Actually the German set was an exact replica of the US set, so that would (like the previous posters correctly said) make the german Doc an inventor, too. :)

Sendit.com deletes many Muppet DVD titles

Thanks again for the heads-up there, muppet_dk! :) Regarding the UK Fraggles, I think I saw it at our local "Laserdisken" here in Aalborg - and I'm betting that "Læsehesten" has a copy or 2 as well; might even go there myself, instead of ordering from abroad (even though that more than...

Sendit.com deletes many Muppet DVD titles

Sendit.com's Muppet DVD listing contains quite an amount of deleted titles now (hope this isn't old news...) - I guess that's all part of Diznee's great "master plan" for the Muppets... And I didn't even manage to snag the 3rd volume of TMS from them...

    ABBA's Muppet Tribute

Did some more research and found this article in english, and it was indeed the Creature Show who did the puppets. :)

    ABBA's Muppet Tribute

Foud this article here from a swedish newpaper (sorry, swedish only), saying that the video is produced in Sweden by a swedish director, and he did indeed get in contact with the Henson people. Who, where and when? Didn't say that...

    ABBA's Muppet Tribute

Saw the last half of it, and loved it! Lots of cameos and one of my favourite actors (Rik Mayall) in it as well. But who has the skinny on it? Was it Henson-produced?

    The International Muppet Show

Just manually skimmed through the text, and it basically only says, that she was the only german celebrity to have appeared on TMS. Nothing else. Period. I've seen this skit recently, and in her conversation with Rowlf it seems like Jim is speaking english to her (and then later re-dubbed by...

    For the Count: International Muppets
