I know it's terrible, but it's been some time since I've visited this place. I lost touch and had reverted to eating cheese puffs and playing Playstation 2 :o .
I promise to take time, however and read up on some threads, starting this evening. I would, however, like to know how everyone is...
Looks like the long awaited DVD version of Harrison Ford's most memorable charater is coming November 2003 to a Best Buy near you. There will be 4 separate discs in the "box set", the fourth being a few hours of bonus behind the scenes and interview material.
So, is anyone else as excited as...
I was on another thread and was inspired to come up with this. It may not be original to Muppetcentral, but I think it may be fun, even if it is old hat.
Think of a "one-liner' from any movie, give the actor who said it, and the movie it was in. If you want to show off, give the situation in...
Does anyone here think that the use of puppetry will fade away? I watch television way too much, and it occurs to me that the majority of muppet-like viewing is on PBS. Bear in the Big Blue House; Between the Lions; Sesame Street.
I never see movies where puppetry is in great use. CGI seems...
Hello. I've been asked via e-mail to post myself here and get to know you wonderful CMFs (crazy Muppet fans).
My name is Dirth, buit you may all call me Patrick. I go by other names too, and if you are attacked by a sudden surge of creativity, I'm open to suggestions.
You probably don't...
I've been reading a lot of the comments in the "Interesting Gulf War News" thread and it seems like a rough place to try and express an oppinion, of late.
The problem with the subject of this or any other war is that, whatever view people have, they are likely very passionate about it...
If you go to the guides list and point to collectibles, you will see a sinister image of my alter-ego emerging from behind closed doors......... MMmmwahahaha.
In real life I look nothing like this :D
Anybody here ever wish they had done something different with their lives. Look at where you are now. Are you happy or did life seem to move quicker than you could keep up?
Well, what if you could go back in time? Would you change anything? Would you start all over again and do things...
I wonder whether or not I should even aproach this topic. I get annoyed by nit-pickers.
The title of this thread is in reference to the posable Miss Piggy figure. Is it just me or does she seem a bit on the thin side? I remember this Muppet diva as being busty and curvacious....alright, so...
I thought I remembered hearing that the man who was reponsible for the voice of the cartoon character had died a few years back. Is that true? If so, does anybody know who will be doing the voice for the movie?
Also, are there any production pictures out there? I'd like to see how it's coming...
I've been searching on google.com and have discovered papier mache` as a medium for creating puppets. Turns out it was a method used hundreds of years ago and is still used among puppeteers today. I am going to be trying it and will tell you whether it's worth the effort.
A question to any of...
On October 1, at approximately 1:40pm, est., my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl :D
She is our first child and man are we tired. I'm sure there are others out there who can attest to the amazing miracle of birth, but until the moment of truth actually arrived, I wasn't convinced that...
a movie titled Fire and Ice?
It was an animated film and kinda reminded me of Bakshi's Lord of the Rings. In fact, I think it was a Bakshi/Frazetta production.
Pure fantasy, it's one of my favorite animated films, but I can't seem to find it and worst of all, I haven't found anyone who...
Hi, all. I have a question. How many of you out there feel that CGI (Computer generated immagery) is a great invention?
Here's my opinion, in case anyone wants to know. I grew up in the '80's, a time when movies were just beginning to see the fruits of computer influences. A good example is a...
Hello, everyone. I am happy to have found this forum. What a surprise to know that there are people out there that are so involved, if not merely interested, in this particular genre.
Not even a novice (more like a fledgeling), I have no doubt that many questions will pop up from my end...
